According to the ICC, Cricket Australia's Head of Cricket Operations and Scheduling Peter Roach said-

We are pleased with the quality of pitches prepared for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series and are grateful for the hard work of the curators and venues across the country.

We encourage pitches that bring out the unique characteristics of the venue and this has long been a feature of Australian cricket. We firmly believe this is why Test cricket is so popular in Australia.

We are not trying to prepare wickets that favour the home team or suit our position in the series. We want a good contest between bat and ball and pitches that are likely to produce a result.

Australia Won the Border Gavaskar Trophy After 10 Years

India started the series with a stunning 295-run win in Perth, but Australia bounced back with victories in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney. Meanwhile, the rain-affected Test at the Gabba ended in a draw.

Australia's win has sealed their place in the final of the World Test Championship 2023-25, where they will face South Africa at Lord's.

This series win also ended their long wait for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which they last won in 2014-15. Meanwhile, after losing the series 1-3, India are out of the WTC final.
